  to my generation: jehovah's witnesses of the vietnam war era .

  if you were a young brother in the late 60's you then remember the burden of the draft and the prospect of going to jail for refusing on religious grounds to be called up.

  in those days we were taught that to do community service was conscientiously the same as joining the military and so we were told to refuse such exemptions.

  they imitate jesus' custom of pointing out the hypocrisy, self-love and greed the religious leaders in his religion practiced daily.

  No More Money!

  as of this june (i've already given my may contributions which are substantial) i am no longer giving money to support useless building projects that serve no good purpose.

  i am no longer giving money at conventions or assemblies.

  i am no longer giving money toward the circuit overseers upkeep.

  if you will remember when fred franz set the 1975 date he taught that the actual end of the 6th 7000 year long creative day and the beginning of the 7th 7000 thousand year long day of rest was in fact after the creation of eve (meaning that the start of the count would be after eve's creation).

  it's a sad example of how low in simple reading skills the present gb and their helpers are.

  david schafer referred to philippians 4:7 on jw broadcasting.

  i'm going to be honest and from the heart when i say that for 40 years in the jw religion i was very happy in my ignorance!

  man, what a trip it was.

  i loved every minute of it but then i was absent the bad in my religion.
